As you may have experienced over the past month or so, our bank is unable to show incoming deposits to CoinFlux accounts in real-time, resulting in delays for our customers. Their system could not cope with the high volume of deposits and payments that were operated on our accounts on a daily basis.

As of today, we are switching operations to Bancpost and will be using new bank accounts to receive deposits from clients.

Also, CEC Bank decided to end their collaboration with CoinFlux, so we will stop using their services altogether. We chose to share this information with you because we’d like our customers to understand that many banks in Romania are reluctant to work with digital currency businesses, as our industry is not yet regulated. We are now in advanced discussions with other banks and, hopefully, we’ll be able to offer multiple deposit accounts in the near future. For now, we can only hope that Bancpost will be able to handle our volume of business.

To avoid delays with deposits to your CoinFlux Wallet, or payments for Orders you have placed, please read the following Q&A:

1. Where can I find the new bank account?
The new bank account is shown on the Orders and Deposit pages on our platform and you’ll be able to copy / paste it from there.

2. What do I have to do?
As of Monday, for any Deposit or Order you’ll make through our service, you’ll have to send money to our new bank accounts (both RON and EUR).

3. I already have money deposited in my CoinFlux wallet. Will I be affected by this change?
No, your money is safe in your CoinFlux Wallet and the change won’t affect you. You’ll only have to be careful to use our new accounts next time you make a Deposit.

4. I’ve made a transfer over the weekend to your current CEC bank account. What happens to my money?
All transfers made this weekend (Saturday January 20 and Sunday January 21) will be processed as soon as they are visible on our accounts, on Monday.

5. What happens if, by mistake, I’ll send money to the old account, on Monday or later?
Our CEC bank account will be closed early in next week. If you send money to our old bank account after it has been closed, CEC Bank will decline your transfer and the money will be returned to your account after a few days. Take extra care in order to avoid unwanted delays!

To conclude, we’d like to assure you we are constantly focusing on offering you a good, reliable and trustworthy service. If you need further information, please reach us through the live chat service on our platform or via e-mail, at support@coinflux.com.
